HIGH PEAKS PERU Travel Agency was created on October 15, 2003; in Huaraz city, Peru with the aim to provide services in Adventure travel; trekking, hiking, climbing and mountaineering tours in Cordilleras Blanca and Huayhuash. Our Staff of Guides are formed by professionals, graduated from CEAM (Center of Studies of High Mountain) member of UIAGM - IFMGA; most of them have more than 10 years of experience guiding expeditions in the Cordillera de los Andes.
Juan Carlos Lliuya (Manager)
Profession: Mountain Guide.
He is graduated from CEAM. He was born and grew up in Huaraz city; surrounded by the mountains of Cordilleras Blanca and Negra, He has worked as a Porter, Cook and Guide Assistant also He worked for many Adventure travel companies getting good recommendations from each of them; at same he studied at CEAM (Center of Studies of High Mountain) in CASA DE GUIAS, getting his Diploma in 2006 as a Profffesional High Mountain Guide, now he is a member of AGMP (Association of Mountain Guides of Peru) and UIAGM - IFMGA (International Federation of Mountain Guide Associations) he has more 10 years of experience guiding climbing and trekking expeditions in the Cordilleras Blanca and Huayhuash, and he participates constantly in rescue and safety courses organised annually by Peuvian Mountain Guides Association.

Juan Victor Morales Moreno

High mountain Guide, graduated in 1999 from CEAM (Center of Studies of High Mountain) in CASA DE GUIAS in Huaraz - Peru. He is a member of AGMP (Association of Mountain Guides of Peru) and UIAGM - IFMGA (International Federation of Mountain Guide Associations).
Ascents: Huascaran, Alpamayo, Quitaraju, Chopicalqui, Pisco, Ranrapalca, Tocllaraju, Artesonraju among others.

Juan Lliuya Alvino

He lives in Huaraz near to Cordillera Blanca; He has worked as a Porter, Cook and Mountain Guide Assistant for many expeditions and companies. He has over 25 years of experience andventure tours in the mountains, so he got several recommendations from different companies, in 1994 he was working in Chile. Now he works with us as a Mountain Cook.

Miguel Lliuya Jamanca

Also he lives in Huaraz, he started working in mountaineering tours since he was very young, working first as a Porter, then as a Cook Assistant, each year he participated in Cookking courses to improve his qualities of Cook. He has worked with many companies showing his ability to cook in the mountains. He is a good Cook!.
